This intricate layered piece by YOHJI YAMAMOTO is made in a beautiful dark green worsted wool/mohair with a satisfying, crisp handle. The base is a long sleeve wrap-front dress, with a double-breasted, peak lapel vest layer that sits over the dress and is joined into seams at the back. This creates the impression of two separate garments at the front, but is clearly one piece when viewed from behind. Given its complicated construction the dress may be worn in a number of ways: with the jacket fully-buttoned, worn open, or even with the vest section hanging loose at the back and the wrap-dress base exposed. It also features a self-fabric tie at the waist which allows the dress to be cinched if desired, and semi-concealed pockets at the side seams. The dress is fully lined in a soft cupro, and the finishing and topstitching is beautiful, as would be expected from a Yohji garment of this quality.
